Projects

Below are some of the projects that we are looking to accomplish through our efforts:

• Painting
  • The back wall
  • The tower
  • Track guard rails
  • Lines in the pit area
• General Landscaping
  • Planting flowers, bushes, etc.
  • Weed whacking the canal
• Build the “Welcome to Island Dragway” Sign
• Refinish the third floor of the tower
• Build a larger “racers bench” along the wall in the staging lanes, with overhang portion
• Removing some of the older objects throughout the project
• Repairing the bridge to the staging area
• Creating a large scaled map for racers/spectators to use
• Repairing the tech both
• Repairing the Time Slip booth
• Building framing behind the starting line to hang sponsorship banners and signs
• Pot Hole repair in the staging and pit area
• Building/creating a nicer fuel area
